Unlike Kobe beef, which is a specific strain of Wagyu cattle from Hyogo Prefecture, Miyazaki Wagyu stands on its own merits. These cattle are carefully raised in a family farm environment with utmost care. They are grain-fed for an extended period of over 650 days, with a special diet that includes roasted soybean and excludes animal protein and meat by-products.
